another incredible night. i've spent the last two-and-a-half hours pillaging various idm/ambient/minimalist electronic netlabels of all their free album goodness. i think i got somewhere in the ballpark of 45 to 50 albums. and its all so good. especially this band, and ten and tracer, and this mess is mine, and cantaloup. shit. some super mellow stuff, some crazy glitchy stuff. some both. man, i'm feeling great again tonight.

finding buttloads of free music on the internet isn't hard in the slightest, you just have to know where to look. and i've spent half of my life online, so i know all sorts of backdoors and wacky swedish-only sites with oodles of tasty goodies.

haven't left my house in 3 days. i'm so okay with that.

also, i've decided on what direction i'm going to take my music towards. still have no new name, though. geh. it's tough figuring out band names, especially if you don't want to be called the [blanks]. i want to get a name, work on songs, and get a netlabel to release an ep before i head off to rhode island. it's pushing it, but i think i can do it.

anyway, feel great, everyone! it's so much nicer to be (virtually) carefree than to be worrying about shit you have no control over.
